Nishikigoi
( Koi ) are ornamental domesticated varieties of the common
carp Cyprinus carpio.
If
a person travels to Japan and tells his or her friends that he or
she loves Koi, their friends might invite that person
to eat the dull gray fish that inhabits the waters of the islands:
In
Japanese,
the word Koi simply means carp (incidentally, the word "koi" can
also mean "love"). article

The
artist (Caesar Yanez)
love of Nishikigoi (koi) has inspired him to venture into the world
of the Nishikigoi (Koi) art.
Therefore, he is producing the following works of art...
lost-wax bronze Koi art (sculptures); Koi
Prints (digital graphics), oil on canvas
- originals. These works of Art (Koi sculptures) are created to
the correct standard/confirmation depicting fine detail, realism and
accuracy. Before, he considers his sculptures complete, they under
go several stages of review from Nishikigoi/koi breeders and judges.
Together with his artistic perspective and the keen eye and knowledge
of the breeders and judges, he is able to produce an artwork that is
true to the nature of the Nishikigoi's beauty and grace.

His bronze Koi sculptures are produced in the true lost-wax process. To see the work in progress please click on the image or on this text
